I had a wonderful child hood. I often catch myself thinking about how everything was so carefree, fun, and simple. Every summer my sister and I would go live with my dad in Arizona. Everyday we would go exploring out in nature, make forts, sell mud pies from our 'bakery', ride horses, name all the farm animals, play with our cousins and have circuses in the front yard with all the farm animals. When we got too hot from the Arizona sun, we would jump in the pool and swim until it was dark. Once evening fell we would go out... toad hunting.
By the time summer was over, we looked like natives. People were shocked that the two little blonde girls were able to get that dark. I would look forward to going to Arizona all year long. Those three months every summer made my entire childhood pure bliss. I wouldn't give up those memories for anything. Some days, I long to be a child again....
